Recipes using the Hot & Spicy Sauce

Hot & Spicy Vegetables

Ingredients

· Hot & Spicy Sauce

· Broccoli, Carrots, Chinese Cabbage, Onions, Mushrooms, Bamboo Shoots, Snow Peas

· Vegetable Oil  

Instructions

1. Boil/Steam broccoli, carrots, Chinese cabbage, onions, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, snow peas until tender-crisp and drain thoroughly.

2. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over high heat. Add boiled/steamed vegetables and stir-fry for 20-30 seconds.

3.  Add Hot & Spicy Sauce, stirring until all pieces are coated with sauce for 30 seconds.

4. Reduce to low heat, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently. 

5. Serve immediately. 

 

 

 

 

Pepper Steak

Ingredients

· Hot & Spicy Sauce

· Flank Steak

· Green bell peppers, Onions 

· Vegetable Oil                            

Instructions

1. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over high heat.  Add sliced pieces of flank steak and stir-fry until light to moderate brown.

2.  Add sliced green bell peppers and onions and stir-fry with flank steak for 30-40 seconds.

3. Add Hot & Spicy Sauce, stirring until all pieces are coated with sauce for 30 seconds. 

4.  Reduce to low heat, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently. 

5. Serve immediately. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     

Home-style “Hot & Spicy Chicken” (using fried chicken tenders)

Ingredients

· Hot & Spicy Sauce

· Fried Chicken Tenders (store bought, ready-to-eat)

· Green bell peppers, carrots, celery

· Vegetable Oil

Instructions

1. Follow heating instructions on the back of package for Fried Chicken Tenders (conventional oven: 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes; deep fry: 350 degrees for 2-5 minutes).

2. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over high heat. Add sliced green bell peppers, carrots, and celery and stir-fry for 30-40 seconds.

3. Add Hot & Spicy Sauce, stirring until all vegetable pieces are coated with sauce for 30 seconds.

4. Reduce to low heat until sauce simmers, cover and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.

5. Pour the sauce over the chicken strips.

6. Serve immediately.

 

 

 

 

 

Home-style “Hot & Spicy Chicken” (using sautéed chicken breasts)

Ingredients

· Hot & Spicy Sauce

· Boneless Chicken Breast

· Green bell peppers, carrots, celery

· Vegetable Oil

· Egg whites

Instructions

1. Prepare boneless chicken breast by slicing it into 1 inch pieces.  Add egg whites to sliced pieces of chicken breast, mix until all pieces are coated with egg white. 

2. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over high heat.  Add prepped chicken and stir-fry until moderately brown or almost well-done. 

3. Add sliced green bell peppers, carrots, and celery and stir-fry for 30-40 seconds, or until chicken becomes well-done (no pink meat in sight). 

4. Add Hot & Spicy Sauce, stirring until all chicken and vegetable pieces are coated with sauce for 30 seconds.

5. Reduce to low heat until sauce simmers, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

6. Serve immediately.

Recipes using the Sesame Sauce

Sesame Shrimp

Ingredients

· Sesame Sauce

· Jumbo Shrimp (peeled and deveined)

· Corn Starch

· Eggs

· Vegetable Oil

· Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare jumbo shrimp by dipping each piece into a batter of eggs.  Then dip the shrimp covered in egg batter in corn starch, making sure each piece gets thoroughly coated.

2. Heat vegetable oil on high heat in large pot to fry battered shrimp.  Place battered shrimp gently in oil one after another.  Fry until the batter on the shrimp turns a light golden brown (about 1-2 minutes).  When ready, remove the shrimp from the frying pot and drain. 

3. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over high heat.  Add Sesame Sauce, and stir for 1 minute.

4. Add fried shrimp to the skillet, and stir until all pieces of the shrimp are coated with the sauce for 20-30 seconds. 

5. Pour “Sesame Shrimp” onto plate, and sprinkle sesame seeds on the top. 

6. Serve immediately. 

 

 

Home-style “Sesame Chicken” (using fried chicken tenders)

Ingredients

· Sesame Sauce

· Fried Chicken Tenders (store bought, ready-to-eat)

· Vegetable Oil

· Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions
